Getting Started
Wp.unca.edu is a free WordPress publishing platform available to UNC Asheville users for teaching and academic purposes. Follow these steps to request a site, and start building your WordPress site today!
Create a Site
Get started by requesting a site at https://site-req.wp.unca.edu, sign in with your UNC Asheville username and password. Fill out and submit the site request form. You will receive an email when your site is created.
Build your Site
The WordPress at UNC Asheville system was upgraded to version 5.x in May 2019. The version features the new Gutenberg block editor for pages and posts. Use the following tutorials and resources to help you start building your site:
